Dental Problems

Do you need to hold your nose when your precious dog breaths in your face or gives you a kiss?

Does “Fifi” pick at her food and drop it from her mouth?

When you brush “Mac’s” teeth do the gums bleed consistently?

When “Spot” smiles at you, are one of the teeth a pinkish purple instead of nice and white?

Any or all of these could indicate a need to have some dental care provided for our furry family member.

·   The most common reason for bad breath, halitosis, is bad teeth. The bacteria, tartar and calculus create the odor that can make you want to hold your nose.

·   Dropping food and being a picky eater can be a sign of sore teeth and gums.

·   Inflamed and infected gums bleed easily

·   Pinkish purple teeth can be a damaged pulp canal with a pulpitis

What do you do when these conditions exist?

·   Schedule a dental visit for initial evaluation

·   A cleaning and polishing would be basic care

Schedule a dental visit with us to help get this under control before permanent damage to the mouth, liver, kidneys or heart can occur!
