Premium Annual Care Package (Gold Plan-over 15% savings) – The Premium Annual Care package provides your pet everything in the Basic Annual Care and the Advanced Annual Care Plans. This includes two comprehensive physical exams at 6 month intervals. These exams give you and your pet time with the doctors and staff of the Animal Care Clinic where a physical exam can detect many underlying problems or a condition of good health. During these exams a discussion of diet, flea control, heartworm prevention, weight control, dental health, behavior or other health related issues can occur. Vaccines will be given, whenever needed, based on risk factoring and as outlined by the American Animal Hospital Association. Laboratory testing of fecal exams for intestinal parasites including Giardia will be done at these physical exam visits twice a year as recommended by the Companion Animal Parasite Council. Comprehensive blood screening, thyroid monitoring and urinalysis will be done annually. The heartworm test will also be done at one of the visits as recommended by the American Heartworm Society. Heartworm and flea prevention are included in this package as well. A full year of heartworm prevention and flea control is very important portion of this beneficial plan.
In addition, it will provide you with annual chest film screening, nail trims (unlimited), and anal gland expressions (unlimited).
