Puppy Care Package

 The Puppy Care Package (save over 15%) provides your new puppy everything they need for superior veterinary care for their first year of life.  This package includes two comprehensive physical exam visits at 6 month intervals, giving you and your pet dedicated time with the doctors and staff of the Animal Care Clinic.  During these visits you will discuss optimal preventive health care including diet, flea control, heartworm and intestinal parasite prevention, weight control, dental care and behavior.  A comprehensive physical exam can assure you of your pet’s good health or possibly provide early detection of subtle underlying health problems.

 

Vaccinations, including as many as 4 booster visits, will be scheduled based on risk factoring as outlined by the American Animal Hospital Association.^**  Three intestinal parasite screenings, including specific testing for Giardia, are included as recommended by the Companion Animal Parasite Council.  Also included is your dog’s first heartworm test, to be performed after 7 months of age as advised by the American Heartworm Society. A full year’s worth of protection against heartworms, intestinal parasites and fleas is included as well. Lastly, at 6 months of age, your puppy’s spay or castration surgery, with pre-anesthetic blood screening for the safety of your pet, is included too!
